Special Education - Administration/Leadership

Special education program leadership services are available to assist public schools with the delivery of special education services. The CESA #2 Director of Special Education is available to provide the following services based on district definition of need:
-- Assist in the development of the Local Performance Plan (LPP) and the preparation for the 20 Indicators, self-assessment, and other
federal and state reports
-- Coordinate and monitor case management of special needs students
-- Provide program evaluation and review to ensure effective and appropriate programming for students
-- Assist in the interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations to staff and parents
-- Review and monitor grant budgets for appropriate distribution of costs
-- Recruit, hire, and supervise special education staff
 

Customized solutions are available to meet the needs of your school or district.
Districts may contract for the CESA #2 Director of Special Education to be identified with DPI as the director or part-time Director for the district.
-- Fees can be offset by IDEA grant funds
-- District cost based on specific district need
-- Fees waived for general consultation not requiring district visits
